Complete novices and budding Tiger Woods are all invited to sign up to ABTA LifeLine’s first-ever Fun Golf day.

Organisers want people of all golfing levels – or none at all – to take part in the event this summer to raise money for the charity.

Golfers will compete in the ‘Texas Scramble’ format, which allows everyone to have a chance to win, while not taking it too seriously.

ABTA LifeLine Director Trudie Clements said: “This is LifeLine’s first golf event and we want to make it as inclusive as possible.

“That’s what’s brilliant about the format we are using, anyone can play and compete with all having a chance to win. The day will be great fun, informal, a chance to meet up with industry colleagues and most importantly, it will help raise important funds for LifeLine when so many in our industry need support.

“Everyone will be guaranteed a great day out.”

The Fun Golf day will take part at Crondon Park Golf Club, Essex, on 18 June and will start with breakfast at 11am, followed by golf at 1.30pm. The day will end with awards, a barbecue and charity auction.

The cost to enter a team of four is £595.

Contact trudie@abtalifeline.org.uk or cnorth@abtalifeline.org.uk to enter, or for more information.
