ABTA LifeLine is offering a new grant to help people in the industry who are facing financial difficulties during the summer.

The charity’s Summertime Grant has been created to help alleviate some of the financial burden families face in the summer holidays and the subsequent return to school in September.

People who are struggling can apply to get assistance in the form of food vouchers, support with purchasing school uniforms, stationery and tech supplies, wellbeing support, as well as financial help with attraction day vouchers plus money for transport and subsistence while on the day out.

The Summertime Grant will run until the end of September and anyone who currently works for, or has worked for, an ABTA member is eligible to apply.

Previous recipients of support from ABTA LifeLine are welcome to apply and eligibility for the Summertime Grant extends to individuals with children under 18 living at the same address.

ABTA Lifeline said: “With the introduction of this new grant programme, ABTA LifeLine will help individuals and families within the travel industry, addressing their most critical needs, and making a lasting impact in our community.

“The charity is dedicated to building a stronger, more supportive industry and invites eligible individuals to apply for these grants to receive the assistance they require during challenging times.”
