Abu Dhabi has signed marketing agreements with eight UK travel companies as part of its plan to grow tourist numbers by 2030.
Deals were signed at World Travel Market London with UK suppliers including Southall Travel, Trailfinders, Travel Republic, Kenwood Travel and We Love Holidays Limited, which owns the loveholidays.com brand. The other three companies are Best at Travel, Destination2 and Luxury Holidays To Ltd.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) wants to grow its presence in key source markets to hit its target of welcoming 39.3 million visitors by 2030.
DCT Abu Dhabi Director of International Operations Abdulla Yousuf said: “We’re pleased to be collaborating with leading travel operators to further Abu Dhabi’s growth across our priority source markets.
“This demonstrates our commitment to working closely with key travel trade partners to ensure Abu Dhabi remains at the forefront of the global travel ecosystem. These partnerships enable us to develop compelling experiences for visitors and increase Abu Dhabi’s visibility on an international scale.”
