Andrea Caulfield-Smith will replace Guy Snelgar as Advantage Travel Managing Director – Global Business Travel in April.

Guy has decided to return to his former consultancy business and will leave Advantage following a three month handover period in July, after almost two years in his current role.

Andrea will join Advantage on 15 April from Visa where she is Director B2B Global Travel Partnerships.

Prior to Visa, she held leadership roles with a number of companies including easyJet, American Express and Carlson Wagon-Lit.

Advantage Chief Executive Julia Lo Bue-Said said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Andrea to Advantage. Her extensive knowledge and experience of the global business travel sector is second to none, and she is excited by the ambitious growth strategy we have set ourselves going forward.

“Andrea is well-known across the business travel sector, and I believe she will be a strong addition to my team and welcomed by our members.

“Andrea’s key focus will be to build on the success of our Global Business Travel division which accounts for over 50% of our membership, with a £7.6 billion annual turnover.

“Her key areas of focus will be to deliver even greater value to our members as we continue to invest significantly in our commercial products and services across this important business division.”
