Aer Lingus has extended the schedule for its direct service from Dublin Airport to New England’s Bradley International Airport.
The Irish flag carrier relaunched the route earlier this year, and will now continue offering almost year-round connectivity.
Operated on an A321 neo LR aircraft, daily flights will reduce to three flights a week from 28 October until 5 January 2024.
There will be no flights from 5 January till 13 March 2024, when three-times-weekly schedules return for two weeks before daily flights resume on 30 March 2024 until October.
Travellers benefit from the convenience of Dublin Airport, which offers US Customs and Border Protection pre-clearance, meaning they can complete all US-entry requirements ahead of departure.
Aer Lingus Chief Strategy and Planning Officer Reid Moody said: “The extension of our nonstop Dublin Airport to Bradley International Airport service reflects Aer Lingus’ commitment to our North American expansion, as we grow the number of transatlantic routes from our Dublin hub.
“The route is Bradley’s only direct service to and from Europe and continues to perform well, reflecting Aer Lingus’ ability to connect Irish customers not only with Hartford, but onwards to the rest of the United States.”
Earlier this year Aer Lingus announced 2024 flight routes to Denver, Colorado and Minneapolis-St. Paul from Dublin.
