Holidaysplease homeworker Debbie Taylor clinched a £260k+ group booking to Mauritius after a fam trip to hosted by Beachcomber.
Along with other Holidaysplease members, Debbie stayed at the all-inclusive Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa, but she booked a group of 101 into the Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, which she’d visited during the fam.
The group had booked a holiday to Mauritius with Cotswolds-based Debbie last year and had inquired about Zanzibar for next May, but Debbie managed to persuade them to return to Mauritius instead, based on her first-hand experience.
“Beachcomber excelled last year, even arranging a dedicated check in at Heathrow, they managed to make my clients feel like VIPs and it has paid off as for the first time ever they are returning to the same hotel,” said Debbie.
She is expecting the value of the booking to rise, possibly reaching £300k, as members of the group upgrade flights and room types.
“Chatting about our shared love of Mauritius and the Beachcomber property reminded the customer of how much they loved it there and then their mind was made up,how could they not go back?” said Debbie.
“Considering this is a group that never return to the same place, I think this says a lot about both the power of agent fam trip experiences and just how amazing this resort is too!”
