Homeworker Rob Lewis-Riley is celebrating the decision to sponsor his son’s football team kit after he made two bookings within the first week and is close to confirming at least one more.

Rob, founder and CEO of Live For Holidays, in Newport, Wales, has sponsored football jackets for 32 players and seven coaches at his son Mason’s football team, Rogerstone Rangers, in Newport, Wales.

Not only do the team players wear the jackets with the Live For Holidays logo to matches and for training, but the children love them so much they’ve been wearing them to school – increasing exposure for Rob’s services.

Rob, whose business is part of the Holiday Village agency group, said: “I set up Live For Holidays two years ago in September and the second year was amazing. I’m so busy, I’ve expanded, with a Senior Travel Consultant, Claire Stone. I have been looking at ways to support my local area and also to promote my business, so I decided to support my son’s under-eights football team.

“I love the jackets and so does everyone else. The team certainly looks the part. The grand unveiling was last week and it was a massive success, with such a positive impact. The kids and the football coaches love them.”

Cruise, longhaul and family specialist Rob added: “Some of the children are even wearing the jacket to school, which is a massive win-win for me as not only is my business being advertised every time they are training and playing at matches I am now being advertised in the school yard too.

“I’ve already had a number of enquiries, including a nice Orlando booking worth £12,000 and a Sandals booking to Barbados from one of the coach’s parents and friends, worth £13,000.

“I’ve got several other family holidays for next summer that I’m very close to booking.

“It’s a great result so far as the jackets were only presented to the kids and coaches a week ago.”

Rob started in travel aged 16 as an apprentice at Going Places and held many managerial positions, including with Thomas Cook, then Hays, which took over when the company ceased trading.
