Air Transat is increasing its services from London Gatwick to both Montreal and Toronto and re-introducing its weekly direct flight to Quebec City for the summer season.

Quebec flights, which launched for the first time last year, will operate again from 24 June to 17 September.

The Canadian carrier’s service to Montreal will operate daily throughout the summer, during which it will also offer twice daily flights to Toronto, until October.

Commercial Director UK & Ireland Sonia Kurek said: “We are delighted to see passenger levels continuing to grow, even after 35 years of operating transatlantic flights to Canada.

“Passengers flying from Gatwick can also take advantage of onward connections across Air Transat’s network throughout Canada, and onto Florida and California in the US.”

Fares start at £414, and all but the Eco Budget fares give the option to change bookings with no admin charge up to 24 hours before departure.
