An airline is no longer allowing passengers to sit in certain exit row seats after a passenger tried to open the emergency hatch during landing.
Asiana Airlines has stopped selling emergency exit seats in the middle of its Airbus A321 aircraft, on the left-hand side.
It follows an incident last Friday when a passenger opened the emergency exit as a flight was coming into land.
The door was allegedly opened just before the flight from Jeju island touched down at Daegu airport in South Korea, causing wind to whip through the cabin.
A total of 200 people were onboard at the time, including 194 passengers.
Twelve people suffered injuries from hyperventilation and nine of them were taken to hospital.
Asiana said it will no longer allow passengers to sit in the emergency exit seats on the left of the aircraft, even if the flight is full.
The two emergency seats on the right-hand side are occupied by cabin crew during take-off and landing.
