AmaWaterways has opened reservations for the 2026 season.

The programme includes the two ships due to launch in 2026: AmaSofia, which will sail the Danube River on a 14-night ‘Magnificent Europe’ cruise, and AmaMaya, which will join AmaDara on the Mekong, cruising a seven-night ‘Charms of the Mekong and Riches of the Mekong’ itinerary.

Two new land packages have been added to AmaWaterways’ seven-night Taste of Bordeaux sailings in 2026. Guests can book a four-night pre-cruise option and spend two nights in Madrid, including tours of the Royal Palace, the Old Town and the city of San Sebastián. Alternatively, a three-night stay in Paris includes a visit to the artist’s refuge of Montmartre and City of Light illumination tour.

New excursions have also been added to the programme, including beer tasting or a walking tour of Utrecht on the ‘Captivating Rhine’, ‘Enchanting Rhine’, and ‘Christmas Markets on the Rhine’ itineraries; and a tour of Wiesbaden, famous for its Sekt (German champagne), and its ‘Kochbrunnen’, a historic thermal hot spring dating back to Roman times. The Wiesbaden tour is on offer on AmaWaterways’ seven-night ‘Vineyard of the Rhine & Moselle’ cruise.

Elsewhere, the 2026 programme has expanded options in Colombia, Egypt and Africa.
