Ambassador Cruise Line will run 21 marine conservation sailings in the 2025-25 season after renewing its partnership with the charity ORCA for a fourth year.

As part of the partnership, ocean conservationists will join Ambience for 11 itineraries and Ambition for 10, where they will collect scientific data and run an interactive education programme onboard, including lectures, Q&As and time on deck to help travellers spot wildlife at sea.

The dedicated ORCA cruises include the ‘Iberian Multigenerational Adventure’ on 10 August 2025, where youngsters can learn about fin whales migrating through the Bay of Biscay, acrobatic common dolphins, elusive beaked whales and harbour porpoises.

The ‘Gems of Spain and Portugal’ itinerary, on 27 September, will stop at Important Marine Mammal Areas (IMMAs), where sightings could include acrobatic common dolphins, to the elusive deep-diving Cuvier’s beaked whale.

On the ‘Land of the Northern Lights’ sailing on 22 March 2026, guests will get the chance to see humpback whales, minke whales, and white-beaked dolphins.

ORCA Director of Fundraising & Operations Steve Jones said: “Our partnership with Ambassador over the past three years has allowed us to extend our reach to more critical habitats and engage with more guests than we ever could have imagined.

“We’re pleased to be continuing this collaboration for another year and are looking forward to the incredible experiences that both guests and crew will share during their global journeys.”

Ambassador Cruise Line CEO Christian Verhounig said: “We are exceptionally proud to be continuing our partnership with ORCA, a charity that shares our deep commitment to ocean conservation, as we think ahead to our 2025/26 season.

“Working alongside ORCA has been incredibly rewarding, as it has allowed us to not only support vital research but also to raise awareness among our guests and crew about the importance of protecting marine life. I look forward to seeing our collaboration grow as we embark on a fourth year in our joint mission to preserve our oceans.”
