Ambassador Cruise Line is to lift all its COVID vaccination and testing requirements on 22 June.

The move means passengers can sail with the no-fly cruise line, regardless of their vaccination status.

Ambassador confirmed it was currently updating its systems to reflect the change and will email passengers booked on future sailings about its updated COVID policy.

Passengers booked on the Arctic Voyage to Spitsbergen sailing departing from Tilbury today (20 June) will no longer need proof of vaccination because the restrictions will be lifted after the ship starts the sailing.

COVID requirements will differ for some itineraries due to entry requirements from host countries, such as Ambience’s 2024 Grand Round the World Cruise and Ambition’s 2024 Highlights of Brazil and West Indies Adventure.

The line said it would tell passengers about any restrictions for these sailings soon.

It added that it still recommends guests have two doses of a UK Government-approved vaccine and passengers displaying COVID symptoms with 72 hours of departure are encouraged to take a test.
