Cunard VP Global Marketing and EMEA Sales Angus Struthers is to leave the cruise line in June, once new ship Queen Anne has launched.

Cunard President Katie McAlister has thanked Angus for his ‘contribution and passion’ over the past 10 years.

Katie said: “Angus has been at the heart of the Cunard brand evolution and commercial growth over the last decade overseeing, amongst other successes, Queen Mary 2’s ‘Remastering’, the launch of Cunard’s Event Voyage programme, spectacular celebrations for our 175th anniversary in Liverpool and of course the exciting imminent arrival of our first new ship in 14 years, Queen Anne.

“We’re seeing our strongest booking results in a decade and as the brand goes from strength to strength I’d like to thank Angus for the incredible contribution and passion he’s showed for the brand.”

Angus said: “Cunard is an incredible brand and I look back with much pride at the many successes we’ve achieved, but after nearly 11 years and once we’ve seen the magnificent Queen Anne named, I feel it is the right time to find my next exciting career opportunity.”
