Travel Gossip has appointed Anwar Sohawon to the newly created position of Sales Director.
Anwar joins today (Tuesday 11 April) from TTG Media, where he worked for more than six years, in roles including Head of Advertising and Senior Partnerships Manager.
Before that, he held senior account management positions at Travel Weekly and Travel Daily.
Anwar’s appointment is part of a restructure of Travel Gossip’s commercial team, which sees promotions for Head of Sales Jessica Simpson and Business Development Manager Ellis Burns.
Jessica becomes Head of Partnerships, tasked with nurturing business relationships with Travel Gossip’s growing number of key trade partners, while Ellis is now Trade Relationships Manager, overseeing key activities of the business including Big Agent Rewards, Take 5 live broadcasts and travel agent outreach.
