Asia, Far East & Indian Sub-Continent Product Manager Duties:
- Ensure the travel brands are buying product at a competitive rate and contracting with a commercial view.
- Source new product to innovate and ensure the offering is relevant, creative and marketable.
- Be knowledgeable of current market prices and product innovations through routine competitor analysis.
- Attend trade events to represent the company.
- Provide product, including special offers, to support the Marketing and PR function of the company.
- Ensure Travel Consultants are product knowledgeable and fully supported, enabling them to ‘sell’ the destination effectively.
- Planning staff and affiliate company educational visits to ensure that key destinations are monitored.
Essential Requirements:
- Travel industry and product management experience for Asia AND/OR Indian Sub-Continent – imperative
- High level experience of contracting and negotiating skills.
- Strong and proven leadership skills.
