Avis Budget Group has returned to East Midlands Airport with the opening of a new car hire location.
The car hire company currently has a temporary location within the airport grounds, and a permanent site is set to open for the summer, located close to the airport’s Mid-Stay car park 3.
Avis previously operated from East Midlands Airport until 2020.
The airport’s Head of Commercial Mel Darwell said: “We’re delighted to welcome Avis Budget to East Midlands Airport, which broadens the choices for onward journeys for our customers who we know are prepared to travel from further afield as well as surrounding areas.
“Customers are set to benefit from a range of improvements at the airport from this summer onwards, including upgraded bar, toilets, seating and wi-fi facilities, and the new presence of Avis Budget will further add to the effortless experience of flying from East Midlands Airport.”
