We are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join a forward thinking and well established travel company, working remotely.

The bid role is busy, fast paced and needs an outstanding creative writer, who can read a question and align our excellent content to “Tell” the best story that maximises the scores and winning tender results!

The Bid Writer will be involved in project support with the Business Development Managers on the tender process and developing the commercial proposition, as well as having the responsibility to creatively develop and maintain the tender library with winning content and lead best practice in the quality of collateral and content available for bid submission.

Bid Writer Duties:

• Pre-tender new business communications (Email; Phone; Pre-Tender executive engagement proposals; White Papers and Presentations).

• Pre-tender new business face to face meetings; process reviews; consultations.

• Pre-Tender / Tender process, building specific customer focussed propositions that are configured to meet the customer requirements ahead of any tender process or as part of the tender submission.

• Tender production and support for the tender submission that specifically address the customer requirements and maximises the winning score.

• Use competitor insights to ensure that the proposition is competitive and effective in neutralising the competitor advantage and maximises the winning score.

Essential Requirements;

• An advanced writing style to read, analyse and understand the question being asked and produce a clear and concise answer.

• Experience in bid writing is essential

• Excellent and demonstrable tender composition and compiling skills.

• Experience in leading the development and management of marketing processes and creating a knowledge base.

• Ability to collaborate to produce a quality product.

• Highly competent in the use of Microsoft office and familiarity with publishing and/or design tools.

• Travel to Manchester for team huddle (once per month).
