We’ll soon be at the end of a very busy 2024, and many people’s thoughts are turning to what 2025 may hold for travel and tourism.
ABTA recently launched a mini-report, ‘Travel Trends for 2025’, which shares some of the developments we’re seeing. It’s designed to be an easy read which sparks some inspiration for selling travel next year. You can see a copy here.
We cover five areas, including where there’s growth in demand for five-star accommodation – the results may surprise you – and the increasing popularity of couples’ holidays.
Also included are the growth of long haul, in particular to new destinations; both brochures and AI as ways in which consumers are getting ideas for their next break; and, appropriately for the time of year, how the public’s choices for winter breaks are evolving.
The trends have been identified from independent consumer research and from conversations with ABTA members.
It’s a simple, 10-minute read. Do share with your colleagues or customers if you would like to, and spark some conversations about holidays in 2025.
