Celesytal has cancelled its six Three Continents cruises on its newest ship Discovery, which is moving to the Arabian Gulf instead for winter 2025.
Based in Abu Dhabi from December 2025, Discovery will operate in the region alongside Celestyal Journey, operating three- and four-night cruises from December 2025 to March 2026, calling at destinations such as Doha, Yas Island, Fujairah, Muscat and Khasab.
Prices start from £249 per person for three nights.
Celestyal said customers on the six cancelled Three Continents departures in November and December 2025, which were due to call at Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, Greece and Turkey have been contacted in advance and either reimbursed or offered alternative cruises.
For winter 2025, Journey will homeport in Doha for a Desert Days itinerary, making maiden calls to Khasab, Dubai, Yas Island and Bahrain. The itinerary launches on 9 November 2024 and includes festive cruises plus Qatar and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix departures.
Celestyal’s core summer Greek and Mediterranean programme, also now on sale, will feature eight additional Heavenly Adriatic cruises in 2025 and 13 in 2026 taking in Greece, Croatia, Montenegro and Italy.
Journey will sail two seven-night itineraries in the Mediterranean and the Aegean, while Discovery will offer shorter summer itineraries of three and four nights.
Chief Commercial Officer Lee Haslett said: “Across our network we offer two types of cruising. Destination intensive three- and four-night itineraries are perfect to combine with a land stay and as a bolt-on to a beach or touring holiday, while our classic seven-night cruises are ideal as a holiday in themselves.”
