Celestyal has launched seven National Geographic tours for passengers in Greece and Croatia.
The new full- and half-day shore excursions will be led by National Geographic-trained guides.
The tours are available across all itineraries that call in Athens, Dubrovnik and Rhodes.
In Athens, the featured tour is based on the history of the Olympic Games, which includes an opportunity to meet a former Olympic athlete and visit the Olympic Sports Complex.
The tours offered in Rhodes include a visit to the Bee Museum of Rhodes to sample local honey and explore a bee colony, while another offers the chance to learn about Blutopia, a team of young scientists who are trying to protect the natural marine environment.
In Dubrovnik, tours include a visit to Croatia’s Konavle region, to discover traditional embroidery, or a trip to the Bay of Mali Ston to a working oyster farm.
