Classic Collection expands city break programme following Ryanair deal

Classic Collection has added 17 destinations to its city breaks programme, bringing the total number now available to 34.

The trade-only operator is also planning to add 16 more cities to the portfolio before the end of the year.

The development comes as a direct result of Classic Collection being able to leverage part of the recent distribution agreement between Ryanair and parent company On the Beach.

Classic Collection Director B2B Si Morris-Green said: “As the only verified Ryanair B2B partner we’re thrilled to be able to offer our agent partners the unbeatable combination of great value low airfares, a huge choice of regional flight routes all wrapped up in an ATOL-protected package.

“Ryanair flights represent a sizeable, value-focussed addition to our extensive range of existing airline partners. We’re very pleased that the process is working smoothly and are delighted with the initial sales volumes, which will only increase as we add more product. It’s a very timely introduction of so many new destinations with peaks on the horizon.”

New city break destinations are: Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Cannes, Copenhagen, Geneva, Krakow, Porto, Reykjavik, Stockholm and Valencia. Closer to home Classic is offering breaks to Belfast, Dublin and London. The operator said one of its first Ryanair bookings was an £8,000 short break to Dublin.

City breaks can be booked on the operator’s booking portal and a new dedicated contact centre team is servicing bookings with a Ryanair flight component to ensure agents and their customers are completely up to date with the information they need in real time.

Agents who make a Classic booking with a Ryanair flight component during October will go into a draw to win one of 15 places on a city break fam trip.
