Co-op Holidays has added flight-free holidays to its portfolio.

The in-house operator of Your Co-op Travel has joined up with flight-free travel platform Byway to offer customisable travel packages by train, ferry and bus.

The holidays are on sale now and include destinations such as France, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland and the Balkans.

Co-op Holidays Content and Ecommerce Manager Natalie Quiney said: “At Co-op Holidays, our co-operative ethos underpins everything we do. We’re deeply committed to providing our members and customers with experiences that not only enrich their lives but also contribute positively to the world around us.

“Our partnership with Byway is a reflection of this, and we hope it inspires customers and members to make sustainable and responsible travel choices while enjoying holidays which are off the beaten track.

“Through Byway, travellers can explore a variety of European destinations, including renowned spots in Italy such as Turin, Milan, and even the charming cities of Tuscany, all via train, ferry and bus.”

Byway Head of Partnerships Paul Conroy said: “Partnering with Co-op Holidays is a great opportunity for us to continue our mission of making flight-free travel mainstream and providing a sustainable holiday alternative for even more travellers.”

Earlier this year CV Villas announced it had also partnered with Byway.
