Contiki has added four tours, including its first trip to Borneo, for 2025.
The nine-day ‘Borneo Adventure’ tour includes visits to Bako National Park, a day on Selingan Turtle Island and a cruise over Kinabatangan River and costs from £2,105 per person, including accommodation, with eight departures between March and October 2025.
The other new tours are a 10-day island hopping around the Philippines; a 12-day ‘China Adventure’ taking in Beijing, Xi’An’s terracotta warriors, a panda sanctuary and the Great Wall of China; and a nine-day India tour.
The ‘Eternal India Express’ tour visits Delhi, Agra, Udaipur, Jaipur, and Ranthambore, including the Taj Mahal, a tiger safari, cooking with a local family and a tour of Old Delhi on a tuk tuk.
TTC Tour Brands Managing Director EMEA Kelly Jackson said: “Expanding our range of trips in Asia has been on the top of our agenda for a couple of years now. We’ve focussed on making these trips budget-friendly for our young travellers, lowering our base prices. Plus, Contiki’s Cyber Sale during November will give young travellers the chance to book their trip for the most affordable price.
“Borneo is a hidden gem – home to 6% of the world’s biodiversity. On our new trip, travellers will get to get to fully immerse themselves in the incredible nature of Borneo. We’re delighted with all the experiences that are included on the trip, and really made sure that travellers are exploring the island’s tropical forests in a sustainable manner.”
