Crystal Ski Holidays is increasing capacity in Norway with the launch of a new charter flight from Manchester and a new resort.

From next winter, flights from Manchester will operate to Oslo Gardermoen every Sunday from 15 December until February 2025.

The TUI Airways service will complement the current Gatwick to Oslo Gardermoen route.

The ski operator has also added the resort of Gausta into its portfolio, alongside the existing Norwegian destinations of Norejfell, Geilo and Beitostølen. Crystal said Gausta is popular among families as it offers children under the age of seven free lift passes.

Managing Director Chris Logan said: “We’re excited to be expanding our Norway offering with this new route and destination for next season following the success of the London Gatwick charter flight this season.

“Our customers love Norway and we’ve seen increased demand thanks to the great product available and its winter wonderland feel. Adding more flying options and destination choice for customers is hugely important to us, and we can’t wait to welcome them back next season to create more special memories.”

Seven nights in Gausta lead in at £730 per person staying at the four-star Gaustablikk Apartments on a self-catering basis, including Manchester flights.
