Cunard has reintroduced a regional sales team in response to feedback from the trade.

The introduction of two regional Partnership Development Managers is the first time since 2020 that field-based managers have been deployed.

The new managers are Savannah Fryer, who will cover the north of the UK, and John Garbutt, who will cover the south, both pictured above.

Both are existing Carnival UK employees and report into Business Manager James Scott.

Savannah and John will be responsible for developing relationships with Cunard’s new and existing travel agent partners, as well as offering training, sales, and marketing support.

Cunard’s UK sales team now numbers 13 and includes trade operations, partnership development and business development.

UK Sales Director Tom Mahoney said: “We are excited to now be able to provide a more tailored, personalised service for our agent partners, with dedicated regional support.

“We have listened, and our new approach reflects the feedback we have been receiving.

“The new field-based team will enhance training and engagement support with our existing partners, while also expanding our distribution to reach new agents who are looking to partner with us.”

Cunard said it is introducing other trade-focused initiatives ahead of a planned 40% increase in capacity when Queen Anne joins the fleet next year. Further details will be released shortly.
