Newmarket Holidays has hired Darren Phillips as Account Manager North, providing maternity cover for Gemma Walker.
Darren has 29 years’ travel experience, including 12 years running his own agency Darren Phillips Travel and account management for beach specialist Sunhotels.
Trade Sales Manager Richard Forde said Darren had ‘experience and knowledge’, adding: “Having new people join our team always generates discussion and fresh ideas.
“We look forward to bringing lots of interesting developments to agents throughout 2023.”
Darren added: “Newmarket’s achievements in retail have gone from strength to strength and I will continue the great work that has been done across the north.
“I can’t wait to get back on the road and visiting agents again as I know that’s where my niche is.”
