Delta will introduce a new seasonal route from Heathrow to London Heathrow to Orlando on 26 October.
The airline will operate the direct service four times a week until 29 March 2025.
It will be Delta’s eight destination from London and the airline says it complements its partnership with Virgin Atlantic, which operates a daily Orlando service.
Delta Senior Vice President for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India Matteo Curcio said: “In partnership with Virgin Atlantic, our new route between Orlando and London seamlessly connects two diverse destinations, offering customers a wealth of experiences on both sides of the Atlantic.”
Delta will operate the London to Orlando flight with a A330-900neo, which includes its Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin classes.
Delta and Virgin will offer up to 187 weekly flights to 14 destinations in the US from Heathrow this winter, including Miami, Tampa and Orlando in Florida and Delta’s hubs in Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York, Seattle and Salt Lake City.
