Director of Contracting Responsibilities:
- Establish strong internal and external relationships for transportation companies and internal peers.
- Focus on account management tasks aiming to deliver quality transportation supply to enable building consistent sales in all source markets.
- Contribute in crafting the best city strategy with leadership.
- Align with metrics/KPIs/KORs of the company to reach the best outcome.
- Provide relevant data and reports, and analyze the performance at city level with essential recommendations to adjust plans and operations when necessary to maximize revenue.
- Negotiate existing and new contracts; re-negotiate contracts when necessary to maintain a competitive edge at each contracted city.
- Evaluate and analyze market trends, competitors’ activities, market/city reports and provide recommendations to maintain a competitive edge while maximizing revenue.
- Nurture relationships with industry stakeholders (tourism boards, official transportation regulatory bodies, etc…) to support the growth of the company.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in contracting within the travel industry is essential.
- High proficiency in Public Speech / PowerPoint Presenting abilities.
- Strong travel industry knowledge and strong in building industry relationships.
- Strong in market data gathering skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Tourism.
- Previous experience in key B2B Travel wholesale companies or transportation ride share operators.
