It’s just over two years since Orlando-based tours and excursions company Real Florida Adventures launched and the operator already tops Trip Advisor’s list of suppliers for outdoor activities in the region.
Real Florida Adventures features around 20 different tours or excursions, including attractions on both coasts, many sports offerings, and its top-rated Manatee Snorkelling at Crystal River excursion.
As well as its range of highly rated group tours, the company also offers private day trips and excursions.

The Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour and Shuttle Launch Experience is a dynamic day out taking in the past, present and future of the space programme, putting visitors front and centre of the whole experience.
The tour provides a complete overview of the full extent of the vast spread of operations, including the massive Vehicle Assembly Building, Launch Complex 39B, and the Apollo/Saturn V Center, with its recreated moon landing and awesome full-size Saturn V rocket.
Back at the main Visitor Complex, guests can experience the moving and emotional Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, one of four surviving orbiters, and get the inside track on what it feels like to blast off from the Space Center on the riveting Shuttle Launch Experience.
For a more personalised experience, private tours can be arranged and there’s even the option of a chat with a NASA astronaut, who will talk visitors through their experiences, what it’s like to live and work in space, before answering questions and posing for a photo.
There’s also the option to combine two Florida must-sees in one day with the Kennedy and Airboat Adventure, where guests spend the morning on Florida’s longest waterway, the St Johns River, spotting alligators, turtles and other wildlife, before spending the rest of the day at the Space Center.

Head out to the beautiful Crystal River area on the Gulf coast, 80 miles north-west of Orlando to the ‘Manatee Capital of the World’ and the only place in America where it is legal to swim with manatees.
It is also home to stunning natural springs and lots of other wildlife, as guests on the Manatee Snorkelling Adventure will discover in the signature Manatee Snorkel under the supervision of a Coast Guard Certified Captain, learning all about the unique West Indian manatee before getting up close and personal with them in the crystal-clear waters.
The tour also takes in the 210-acre Homosassa Springs State Park, where there is plentiful local wildlife to see and hear about, including the endangered Florida panther, black bears, red wolves, bobcats and alligators, whooping cranes and flamingos.
