EasyJet has extended the validity of vouchers issued during the pandemic by six months.

The budget carrier said the deadline for using the vouchers, issued following flight cancellations, had been extended from 31 July 2023 to 31 January 2024.

EasyJet hopes this will provide passengers ‘with more time and more choice for making a future booking’.

Customers will be contacted once their voucher’s validity has been extended, the airline said.

Customers do not have to have flown by 31 January next year, they just need to have booked their flight. The vouchers cannot be used to book easyJet holidays packages.

EasyJet has also put on sale 100,000 flights from 24 March to 2 June next year, including the Easter period.

More than 60,000 flights are to and from the UK.

UK Country Manager Ali Gayward said: “With our schedule now available to book up until 2 June 2024, our customers can choose from nearly 1,000 routes to more than 150 airports in 35 countries across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.”

EasyJet holidays has also put on sale thousands more package holidays for spring 2024.
