EasyJet holidays has added Rotterdam to its city break portfolio.

Packages are on sale now to the Netherlands’ second-largest city, with prices from £229 per person.

To get there, customers fly to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, then catch a train to Rotterdam. The shortest train journey is 27 minutes.

Accommodation includes the four-star SS Rotterdam, a former ocean liner that has been a hotel ship since 2010, and the five-star Mainport Design Hotel.

Three nights, room only, start at £413 per person on SS Rotterdam and £409pp at the Mainport Design Hotel.

Commercial Director Paul Bixby said: “We’re always looking to expand our offering and meet holidaymakers’ demands for Europe’s most loved cities.

“So, it only made sense to add Rotterdam to our collection, allowing our customers to make the most of our regular flights to Amsterdam, and the incredibly quick public transport on offer to the Netherlands’ second largest city.”
