EasyJet holidays has added packages from Southend to Almeria and Reus in Spain as well as to Malta for summer 2025.

The new destinations are on sale now, and are part of ‘thousands’ more package holidays the operator has added for next year from Southend, including more options to Gran Canaria, Italy, Marrakesh, Tunisia and Turkey.

Easyjet announced in May that it would re-open its Southend base in March 2025 with six routes from the airport to Pisa, Gran Canaria, Dalaman, Antalya, Marrakech and Enfidha in Tunisia. In June, it announced it would also add a Southend-Tenerife route, with package holidays available for summer 2025.

Head of Trade Distribution Natasha Marson said: “We’re thrilled to be offering even more holidays from Southend with a variety of popular destinations across Europe and North Africa for summer 2025.

“We can’t wait to continue supporting agents within the Southend area, by offering brilliant value package holidays.”

Agents can now download digital quotes for bespoke package holidays from the airport on the easyJet holidays trade portal, following an upgrade.

The airline used to have a base at Southend between 2012 and 2020 but it was closed during the pandemic.
