EasyJet holidays has been revealed as the afterparty sponsor at this year’s Travel Gossip Awards, part of the Travel Celebration.
Head of Trade Distribution Natasha Marson said: “We are so excited to be sponsoring the Travel Gossip Awards afterparty for the first time and look forward to an evening of celebration for tour operators, suppliers and destinations who have best supported travel agents over the last year.
“We want to thank travel agents who continue to support easyJet holidays and we look forward to bringing the orange spirit and a splash of orange colour across the evening!”
EasyJet holidays is among several brands that have signed up as sponsors of the second Travel Celebration and Travel Gossip Awards, which take place in March.
Travel names involved in the Travel Celebration include Malta, South Africa, Travelpack and Travelopia, along with awards category sponsors such as Gold Medal, Expedition Cruise Network, Birmingham Airport, American Affair, Travel Wholesale, Holiday Extras, Avis and Gran Canaria.
Awards headline sponsor Ambassador Cruise Line is promising an unforgettable event, with entertainment provided by one of the UK’s top live production companies, Peel Entertainment.
Head of Distribution Nicola Harper said: “Ambassador will be working with entertainment partner Peel to ensure we have a memorable evening. We have lots of plans and it will be a night to remember.”
More than 1,500 agents have voted so far for their favourite companies and personalities and the deadline to vote in the awards is this coming Sunday, 28 January. You can see all shortlisted companies and cast your vote here.
Agents who vote for their favourites are automatically entered into a draw to win a cruise for two with awards headline sponsor Ambassador Cruise Line, a pair of tickets to the central London Travel Celebration on 26 March with travel and overnight accommodation, or one of 10 pairs of tickets to the event only.
In addition, five agents will get the chance to arrive in style at the event, in a chauffeur-driven limo courtesy of Blacklane chauffeurs.
ABTA LifeLine is the Travel Celebration’s chosen charity this year.
