The low-cost carrier has launched flights from Luton and Edinburgh to Rovaniemi, Finland, which is an entry point to Lapland, and from Liverpool, Glasgow, Belfast and Edinburgh to scuba diving hotspot, Hurghada.

The Rovaniemi-bound flights from Edinburgh start on 3 December and from Edinburgh on 9 December. They will operate twice a week throughout the winter.

The new routes to Finland join existing services from Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester.

Flights to Hurghada from Liverpool will start on 29 October, from Glasgow on 8 November, from Belfast on 31 October and from Edinburgh on 6 November.

Services to Hurghada will operate twice a week from Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh, while Belfast will have a flight going out once a week.

The airline has also added winter city routes from Liverpool to Lyon and from Southend to Geneva.

Tour operator EasyJet holidays said the new routes mean thousands of new packages are now available to Hurghada, Lyon and Geneva.
