Ideal for a sales or business development manager from an educational tours background seeking career progression within a forward thinking travel company.

Educational Travel Business Development Manager Duties:

• Support our clients growth ambitions by identifying new product, commercial, audience and territory opportunities.
• Identify and support new product development opportunities.
• Grow sales from British International schools.
• In co-ordination with the Head of Sales and Product and the Commercial Manager, identify ways to support the relevant teams to improve school’s retention and advocacy.
• Provide commercial support for other business cases as required.

Educational Travel Business Development Manager – Essential Requirements:

• Experience of working in a commercial, sales, product or business development role in the travel sector is imperative
• Experience within the school trip tour operator sector is highly desirable though not essential.
• Must be commercially ‘savvy’ and have the ability to identify growth opportunities via a good understanding of market and audience dynamics.
• Must be an effective communicator and have strong inter-personal skills.
• Must be able to effectively engage people and be a good team player.
