Brazil’s tourist board, Embratur and TAP Air Portugal will host a webinar for UK travel agents about the Amazon region next week.
The webinar follows the news that TAP is returning to the northwestern city of Manaus on 4 November, offering three flights a week from Lisbon.
TAP last served Manaus, the capital of Brazil’s Amazonas state, between 2014 and 2016.
Embratur said: “We will unveil the secrets of the Amazon rainforest, the cultural riches of our people, the fascinating history of the rubber boom period, and the delights of our unique cuisine.
“Don’t miss this chance to stand out in the tourism market by offering exclusive packages and authentic experiences that only the Amazon can provide.”
The webinar for the UK travel trade takes place on 24 September at 4pm.
