Emerald Cruises will launch a new ship, Emerald Astra, in 2026.
The 180-passenger ship will be the seventh ship to sail the Rhine, Moselle and Danube rivers.
In addition, Emeral Cruises will upgrade its existing European river fleet during the 2025 season.
Enhancements include bar and lounge redesigns, iPads in guest rooms and revamped pool, cinema and restaurant spaces.
Emerald Cruises’ 2026 river cruise season will be available to book from 22 October 2024, including via Expressbook for travel agents.
