Events Manager Duties:
- Planning, organising, and executing various event services, ensuring they run smoothly and meet the objectives and expectations of the organisers and participants.
- Executing client events and venue sourcing worldwide.
- Execution of events services pre-, during and post- event, matching clients with venues/hotels.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their event requirements, including number of attendees, budget, and location preferences. Gather detailed information about the event brief and specific needs of the group.
- Project management and delivery, from end to end, of a range of event types including conferences, training events, briefings, webinars, incentives etc. utilising a range of formats including virtual, hybrid and face-to-face.
- Utilise industry knowledge and a network of contacts to identify and recommend suitable venues for worldwide events, accommodation and meeting space.
- Negotiate with venue representatives to secure favourable terms, including pricing, services, and any additional requirements.
Events Manager – Essential Requirements:
- Similar event management experience is essential.
- Experience working within the corporate events sector is key.
- Must have strong relationships with hotels, hotel representatives, venues, and suppliers across the UK and worldwide.
- Strong organisational and people collaboration skills, outstanding client service, extensive UK & worldwide hotel knowledge
- Budget management experience.
