Fares & Ticketing Agent Duties:
- Oversee the company airfare deals & ticketing activities.
- Assist sales teams with pricing PNRs using a variety of different airfares.
- Work with external airfare suppliers for overseas local market fares.
- Ensure favorable ticketing deadlines are provided.
- Use diary function reminders for deadlines on third party bookings.
- Provide additional support to the after sales team.
- Monitor for schedule changes and liaise with after sales team to rebook where applicable, and revalidate/reissue tickets.
- Keep abreast of developments in the airline industry and share with sales & product teams.
- Carry out quality control checks on booking files/PNRs.
