Ambassador Cruise Line has established itself as Britain’s authentic no-fly, affordable quality option, largely serving the over 50s market. Founded in 2021, and now with two mid-size ships – Ambience and Ambition – it has become well-known for amazing entertainment, outstanding cuisine, exceptional service and giving guests the chance to visit some top destinations around the world on classic cruise ships.

Sailing from a variety of UK ports, Ambassador also hosts themed cruises such as cricket, radio and TV legends, and during the school holidays there are multigenerational cruises so all the family can enjoy life onboard.

Here are just a few exciting things Ambassador is doing to support agents this year.

The 2025/2026 brochure

If you’ve got clients looking to book their 2025 or early 2026 cruise, then Ambassador has recently announced its sailings from regional ports including London Cruise Terminal in Tilbury, Liverpool, Bristol, Belfast, Dundee, Edinburgh, Falmouth and Newcastle.

There are 31 cruises on Ambience with two festive events, 45 cruises on Ambition with two festive events, and a total of five multigenerational cruises.

Durations range from three-night festive cruises to Antwerp, through to a 40-night Jewels of the Caribbean cruise in January 2026.

Buy-one-get-one-half-price promotion

It’s even easier to sell a cruise with Ambassador’s ‘buy-one-get-one-half-price’ deal. The offer is valid on all new bookings made before 31 July for sailings from 6 April 2025 to 10 April 2026. Plus, there’s 25% off its Expedition premium drinks package.

Fams and incentives

In the 12 months up to March 2024, Ambassador’s trade team hosted 589 agents on ship visits in regions across the UK, and this summer it will be welcoming 60 agents onboard for three trips from July through to September.

Also, the line regularly rewards agents with incentives, from shopping vouchers to paying an agent’s rent or mortgage for a month.

With the latest ‘Beat the Winter Blues’ incentive, agents can earn a £20 Love2Shop voucher on bookings for departures from 1 October 2024 to 21 March 2025, which is doubled to £40 per booking for Canaries cruises. It ends on 10 July.

Bolstering the trade sales team to support you

To enhance its trade support around the country, Ambassador is currently recruiting four Business Development Executives. The line has also recently promoted Karen Cameron to Deputy Head of Trade and is recruiting a new Divisional Sales Manager to replace her.
