Holidaysplease founders Charles Dunscombe and Richard Dixon and Richard’s wife Sonia are to leave the business exactly a year after it was taken over by Travel Counsellors.

All three had resigned as Holidaysplease directors last March after it was bought by Travel Counsellors for an undisclosed sum.

However they remained with the business for 12 months to assist with the transition.

Travel Counsellors Director of Franchise Sales Matt Harding said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have worked closely with the team at Holidaysplease over the last 12 months overseeing the seamless integration of Holidaysplease and welcoming so many talented business owners into the Travel Counsellors community.

“We want to especially thank Charles, Richard and Sonia for all of the help, support and guidance they have provided us. The acquisition would not have been the success it has been without the special business and team they had built and the outstanding care and professionalism they have shown over this period – we wish them every success for the future.”

Meanwhile, Travel Counsellors has appointed Dave Gash to the role of Knowledge Manager to ensure consultants have easy access to its online learning platforms.
