Boxer Frank Bruno MBE will join new Cunard ship Queen Anne’s maiden British Isles voyage.
The former WBC heavyweight champion will sail on the 3,000-passenger ship as part of its 14-night ‘British Isles Festival Voyage’ – a celebratory ‘lap of honour’ of the British Isles, which departs Southampton on 24 May.
The mental health campaigner will be hosting a Q&A in Queen Anne’s Royal Court Theatre, discussing his boxing career as well as the Frank Bruno Foundation for people struggling with mental ill-health.
Other special guests on the voyage include legendary musician Midge Ure and West End and Broadway star Rachel Tucker, who will be performing live. Olivier award-winning actress Celia Imrie will also be hosting a talk.
The cruise calls at South Queensferry, Greenock, Kirkwall, Invergordon, Belfast, Cork, and Liverpool, where the ship will be named on 3 June.
