Fred. Holidays has been appointed General Sales Agent for long-established cruise line Lindblad Expeditions.
Lindblad operates 19 ships, carrying from 16 to 148 guests on more than 100 itineraries on over 600 cruises a year.
Fred. Holidays said it will work with Lindblad Expeditions on a targeted sales, marketing and public relations campaign aimed at increasing brand exposure and awareness, building the UK business while growing market share.
From 23 September 2024, the team at Fred. Holidays will be available to take Lindblad Expeditions calls and help with any queries.
Lindblad Senior VP of Sales and Revenue Kathi Riddle said: “It has long been a goal of ours to grow our sales internationally and reach a broader, more diverse audience beyond our strong presence in the US and Australia.
“With their gold-star reputation and deep understanding of the UK market, Fred. Holidays is the perfect partner to help us shatter our international growth goals and capitalise on the recent expansion of our agreement with National Geographic that has made it possible for us to market our co-brand globally.

Fred. Holidays Director of Tour Operations Tricia Birmingham added: “There is so much potential for the growth of expedition and adventure cruise within the UK and I am confident that Fred. Fred. Holidays is currently recruiting for a head of UK sales who will manage the relationship and oversee all activity. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales leadership team at Lindblad Expeditions and report directly to Tricia.
Lindblad Expeditions also recently appointed Christine Stevens as VP of National, Strategic and International Accounts to oversee its UK sales strategy.
