Fred Holidays has unveiled a 21-night itinerary that includes a week-long train journey through Rajasthan and a seven-night cruise on the Brahmaputra River.
The itinerary also features a two-night stay in New Delhi with a full-day sightseeing tour and a one-night stay in Guwahati.
After the stay in New Dehli, passengers will travel on the Palace on Wheels train, visiting Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur and Agra.
Passengers will then fly from Delhi to Guwahati for an overnight stay before taking a river cruise on the RV Kindat Pandaw on the Brahmaputra River.
Next year, there are three departures of this cruise-and-rail itinerary on 7 January, 18 February and 25 February. Prices start from £9,895 per person.
The price includes international flights from London, overseas transfers, three nights at the Taj Palace New Delhi, sightseeing tour of Delhi, full board rail journey and the river cruise.
