Gold Medal has launched a trade portal offering new several features, including the ability for agents to edit their own commission levels before the booking is confirmed.
The operator has been working on the site, called Digital Discovery, for 18 months and added the improvements in response to requests from travel agents.
Digital Product Director Jamie Greystock said: “We have been working incredibly hard over the last 18 months to further enhance the Gold Medal website and bring agents some great new features.
“The main goal was, and continues to be, creating an agent website with agents.
“A lot of investment from both agents and our experienced team has allowed us to create something we are incredibly proud of and are excited to share.”
He added: “When asking agents for their thoughts on what improvements we could make to the website, the ability to edit commission came through strongly on multiple occasions.
“We have implemented this now successfully and it is a really simple step for agents to follow.
“I would encourage anyone who hasn’t already, to give it a go on their next online booking.
“As it is at quote level, this is available for any individual components such as a flight only, hotel only, or holiday packages.”
The website also has a technology training hub, service hub and marketing hub.
