Group Travel Consultant Duties:
- Serving customers for travel groups, meetings, and event enquiries.
- Creating new travel bookings and supporting all post-confirmation enquiries such as changes and cancelations, while maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.
- Up-selling and cross-selling, along with other techniques, to maximise revenue, using a consultative sales approach.
- Focusing on group and individual flights, hotel, coach and ancillary service bookings
- Partnering with Destination Management Companies and event providers to offer additional products globally.
Essential Requirements:
- Group travel experience within the travel industry is essential
- GDS System experience is essential such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre
- Focused on providing excellent service to customers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
