Groups and Events Travel Consultant Duties:
- Making individual and group bookings (air, rail, hotels) and all ground travel
- arrangements liaising with appropriate DMCs.
- Putting together client proposals ensuring that proposals are relevant, accurate, commercially viable and stand out.
- Demonstrating fantastic destination knowledge.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients.
- Maintenance of ongoing client relationships.
Groups and Events Travel Consultant – Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience of working for a tour operator, travel agency or within business travel.
- Strong GDS knowledge such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo.
- Knowledge of complex fare routings.
- Excellent geographical knowledge/personal travel experience
- Experience within flight/rail booking, conferences, incentives and/or
- summer/winter parties.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- IT savvy – you are competent in using the full range of Microsoft Office products
