Head of Travel Representation Duties:
- Manage and represent a small portfolio of travel clients.
- Manage, motivate and co-ordinate a small team of Representation Managers towards success in delivering for all of our clients and report regularly on results and progress to the CEO.
- set and monitor KPIs to ensure success.
- Researching new contacts and developing rapport.
- Creating meetings and opportunities.
- Attending networking events.
- Involvement in other sales, product and marketing projects.
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience of working in Product and/or Sales and/or Marketing for a U.K. travel company) and able bring their own extensive industry contacts.
- Driven and self-motivated to develop business opportunities on behalf of our clients (who are DMCs and Tourist Boards from around the world).
- Travel representation experience – ideal but not essential
- Excellent people management skills and knowledge of product, sales and marketing principles in travel are required.
- Copy-writing skills and experience.
- IT Savvy.
