The Foreign Office has updated its travel advice to warn holidaymakers there have been reports of sexual assaults in taxis and Ubers in Croatia.
Its website lists advice to help visitors prevent potential assaults, such as taking a photo of the taxi number inside the vehicle and sending to a friend, or sharing the ride status on the Uber app.
The FCDO also recommended travellers make a call while in the taxi telling someone which taxi they are in and where they’re going.
