Learn about the Tampa Riverwalk, a scenic 4km path linking popular attractions, hotels, museums and parks – this picturesque route can be seen as ‘gems on a string’ which, together, form a delightful journey.

From Armature Works to The Florida Aquarium, what to see along the Riverwalk

Take in the beautiful waterfront views on the Tampa Riverwalk, along the Hillsborough River to the Garrison Channel. Start the journey at the bustling Heights Market at Armature Works, stop at the vibrant Curtis Hixon Park, and continue until Sparkman Wharf, stopping off at some of the many attractions, bars, or restaurants.

The Riverwalk takes visitors to many attractions, including Tampa Bay History Center, Straz Center for Performing Arts, The Florida Aquarium. Click here for a full list and more details.

Depending on the time of year your clients visit, there may well be an event taking place.

Riverfest is a public, two-day, free event that is held the first weekend in May. The festival spans the entire length of the Riverwalk and includes several parks and features family-friendly activities and events showcasing Tampa’s cultural institutions, local music and restaurants.

There’s also a July 4th Boat Parade and Blessing of the Fleet; and a Holiday Lighted Boat Parade in December. The Riverwalk Halloween Hunt is a family-friendly not-too-spooky virtual scavenger hunt along the Tampa Riverwalk, where teams solve riddles, puzzles and tasks.
